Port Blandford Marina
The Town of Port Blandford is more than happy to provide a letter of support for GMK for the work they completed on the Port Blandford Municipal Park.
​
In the Spring of 2019. GMK Equipment Rentals LTD. was the successful bidder in a public tender to complete the first phase pf the Port Blandford Municipal Park by Canada Day 2019. This work was completed within budget and on time.
​
Phase two in 2021 was also completed within budget and on time. Like the first phase, the work was completed above specifications and was exceptional.
​
During both projects, the owners and staff were excellent to work with. Safety plans were followed and the town did not issue any infractions.
​
The town has no issues recommending GMK to other municipalities for similar work, as well as to other levels of government, organizations and businesses.
Port Blandford Municipal Park
In 2021 GMK won the contract to install 10 Electric Vehicle Charging Stations from Robinsons to St. John's as part of the TakeCharge Newfoundland Powers Electrification. All 10 stations were installed by summer of 2022.

GMK being the main contractor was able to keep all other contractors on schedule and on budget which is why the project was completed in a timely manner.
​
At the start of each day, GMK conducted a "tailboard" safety meeting to discuss all aspects of that day's work and point out any safety related issues. Because of this well organized approach, the project went without any safety related incidents.
​
In my experience dealing with GMK, I would have no hesitation working with them again or recommend them for any future work with Newfoundland Power. I am available should anyone like to discuss this further.
